Qila, fenka, kříženka, přibližně 2 roky stará. Je očkovaná, odčervená, ošetřená pipetou proti vnějším parazitům, kastrovaná a čipovaná. Střední velikost, 23 kg, ale má velkou nadváhu a potřebuje hodně shodit.
Qila byla zachráněna z Ománu, kde celý život prožila za zdmi městské pevnosti. Hrozilo jí nebezpečí otravy, a tak ji k nám přivezla soukromá organizace která se věnuje záchraně psů.
Qila je velmi chytrá a přítulná. Má výraznou osobnost a vlastní hlavu, ale je také velmi submisivní. Zdá se, že má jasnou představu o tom, jakého člověka by chtěla mít po svém boku, protože dokáže být z jedné návštěvy úplně celá pryč a další zcela ignorovat. Qila žije pro jídlo a lidskou pozornost. Dokáže člověka naprosto okouzlit svýma štěněcíma očima. Není vhodná do domácnosti k mladším dětem, jedině ke starším a rozumným dětem, které ji nebudou děsit.
Jelikož Qila dosud nepoznala nic jiného než život za zdmi pevnosti, má se toho ještě hodně co učit. Všechno je pro ni nové – auta, lidé, děti, přeplněná místa… Vyhovoval by jí spíš život na okraji města nebo na venkově. Qila bydlí momentálně u zkušené dočaskářky v Praze, kousek od Riegrových sadů. Klidnější ulice a park už zvládá docela dobře, ale hlučnější ulice a tramvaje jsou pro ni stále dost děsivé.
Je středně aktivní a doma umí odpočívat. Nemá problém zůstávat o samotě. Chůzi na vodítku zvládá dobře. Je možné ji dobře trénovat, protože je velmi snadno motivovatelná jídlem.
Qila se dobře snáší s ostatními psy a ráda si hraje, ale je to panovačná dáma. Na procházkách psy spíš ignoruje, ještě není zvyklá se s nimi potkávat když je na vodítku. S kočkami vychází v pohodě, jen venkovní kočky by pravděpodobně měla tendenci prohánět.
Před adopcí nabízíme dočasnou péči na zkoušku. Quila se nachází v dočasné péči v Praze a je možné ji tam navštívit.

Welcome our two new rescues from Oman,
QILA and CASEY!🐶🐶
In 2023 we started some new international cooperations in order to be able to help a few cats and dogs from abroad. We are continuing to do so in 2024 and this time a wonderful collaboration of the rescuing ladies Marion Keller, Sudeshna TJ and Varsha Karnik made it possible for two dogs to travel all the way from Oman to the Czech Republic!✈️🐾
Qila is a very sweet and friendly dog. She made herself right at home and she is loving her big new dog bed. We believe that she will quickly find a new family, because she is very cuddly and people oriented.🐕🦺
Casey is a wonderful soul, but you can see in her eyes that she hasn’t experienced much good in life.😥 She rather hides and makes herself invisible before causing any troubles. Casey is still quite shy and it will probably take her some time to come out of her shell. Well, good news Casey, you finally reached a place of refuge, free from all the dangers in the world.🐕
The only thing Qila and Casey don’t enjoy so much at our place is the cold weather.❄️Coming from a warm country like Oman the current temperatures are quite shocking.🥶 We have made space for them in a room with a log fire to help them acclimatise slowly.🥰 Because of the temperature they can only go out to do their business for now. This has the benefit of leash training as Casey has never been on a leash before. She’s a fast learner and a smart girl.🙏
Qila already has two families who would like to come and meet her and she even has people who offered to foster her.❤ Casey isn’t so lucky yet, but unless there is a really experienced foster coming along, it will be much better for her to stay and decompress for a little while at our place.❤️🩹

QILA is looking for her forever home!!
Meet Qila, female, 2 years old, mixed breed 23 kg (but she is very overweight). She is vaccinated, dewormed, anti-parasite treated, microchipped and castrated.
Qila is a rescue from Oman who has lived all her life behind walls in a city fortress. She was at risk of being poisoned, so a private rescue brought her to us.
Qila is very smart and cuddly.❤️ She is a real character and has a mind of her own, but in the same time Qila is also very submissive and listens to corrections. Qila lives for food and attention and she will certainly put her paw on you to ask for more cuddles.🤣 She possesses super powers to enchant you with her puppy eyes.🤗 At this very moment Qila could only be with older kids. Too young and twirly kids are just too much for her.
Since Qila doesn’t know anything other than her fortress walls, she is still learning. Everything is new to her, traffic, people, crowded places… we think that Qila would really well on the outskirts of a city or on the countryside, though Qila is right now with an experienced foster in foster care in Prague next to Riegrovy Sady. Qila is managing smaller streets and the park already pretty well, but bigger streets including trams is still quite scary for her.
Qila is medium active and knows how to relax inside. She can be easily trained, because she is smart and very food motivated.🌭 Qila walks now also well on the leash. She has no problem with staying alone at home.
Qila is good with other dogs and likes to play, but she can be a bossy lady. On walks she rather ignores other dogs, because she still needs to get used to meeting other dogs while being on the leash. Qila is ok with cats.🐾 We offer foster care before adopting.
Qila is right now in foster care in Prague close to Riegrovy Sady and can be visited there.
