Meet Sandy ✨
Sandy is around 6 years old and has spent her entire life in poor conditions at a shelter, never knowing comfort or proper care. She was rescued as a kitten, but sadly, things never really got better for her — until now.
When Sandy recently arrived at Cool Critters, she was drooling constantly due to severe dental issues. Her mouth was in pain, her teeth were rotten, and her fur was matted and dirty from trying to clean herself.
We gave her gentle waterless baths and ran extensive blood tests. Last week, she had 4 teeth removed, and the rest cleaned. She’s finally stopped drooling — a sign the pain is easing. We’ll know soon if more extractions are needed.
Despite everything she’s been through, Sandy is incredibly loving — just like the other five kitties rescued with her.
