Life isn’t fair 😭 It’s taken a long time to write this post as it still hurts so bad 😔 Little Spider Cat passed away and it literally broke our hearts in two 💔 We guessed after a few days of no sleep and encouraging him to eat that there was something underlying going on. He was way too small for his age. He had the weight of a 2/3 week old but the vet estimated he was between 4/5 weeks. It doesn’t seem a lot of difference but in a tiny kitten, it really is. He just didn’t gain weight 😔 Then one night in the early hours, his little body gave up the fight 💔 We always know that tiny kittens have a much lower rate of surviving but it doesn’t make it any easier when they leave us.
The moral of this story is to leave the kittens with their mothers as long as possible. He was taken away from her, and us, far to soon 😭 RIP sweet boy
