Last week we were asked by the Úřad (Majors office) in Kadlin to help two stray cats that they had been feeding. One boy seemed really sick and the other pretty battered. On Friday they had complete health check and blood work.
Sadly the black boy is quite elderly and really in a bad way 😿 His teeth are rotten, his coat is the most matted we’ve ever seen on a long haired cat, he has a severe iron deficiency and he is FeLV positive 😭
The other one is fairly healthy, although he has been involved in some fights. He was castrated on Monday and we are still trying to decide whether to release him again. He’s pretty friendly and we will see how he does this week.
We named the black one Steptoe, maybe only older British people will get why 😄 and the white and Tabby, Sonnie.
