Ahoj, já jsem Barunka. Původně mě chtěli jen odchytit, vykastrovat a pak bys zase bydlela venku a nechávala se krmit od hodné paní. Jenže ta paní, která mě odchytla, si všimla něčeho divného na mém zátylku. Pravděpodobně šlo o pozůstatek rvačky nebo podráždění od klíštěte – každopádně se rána zanítila a potřebovala ošetřit. Veterinář se rozhodl ránu vyčistit a zašít. Jenže to bych nebyla já, kdyby to proběhlo bez komplikací. Několikrát jsem si stehy zvládla roztrhnout, až útulková teta dostala radu, že bude lepší ránu překrýt, mazat a nechat ji pomalu hojit.
Ten čas navíc mi ale vlastně jen prospěl. Teď čekám v dočasné péči, pomalu se zotavuji, zvykám si na nové prostředí a tiše doufám, že si mě brzy někdo vybere jako svou vlastní kočičí parťačku.

Barunka one of many cats that were supposed to be neutered and released to a place where a nice lady feeds them. But the lady who caught me noticed something strange on the back of my neck. It was probably the remnant of a fight or a scratched tick, either way the wound had become inflamed and needed medical attention. So the vet decided to clean and stitch the wound. Oh well, it wouldn’t have been me to not have some other complications 🙁 I managed to break the stitches several times until my aunt got the advice that it would be better to treat the wound with a dressing, lubricate it and wait for it to slowly heal. The extra time has only benefitted me… I’m waiting in a temporary home, slowly recovering, getting used to my new surroundings, and waiting to for my new home

Meet BARUNKA, female, 1 year old, she is microchipped, castrated, vaccinated and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
Barunka is a very sweet and snuggly girl.😻 When she arrived in her foster home, she was a feral and scared kitten, but now she loves her foster mom and wants to be wherever she is, using any chance to get on her lap. ❤
Barunka is queen of the apartment, and will definitely need to be an only cat as she gets easily jealous of her foster brother. 🐾 She can entertain herself by throwing her toy mouse and running after it, and she is quite adventurous and brave. Barunka is still growing out of some of her kitten behaviour like biting. She would be the perfect cat for a single person or couple who wants to spoil her for the rest of her life! 🥰
Barunka is right now in Prague in foster care and can be visited there.
